“As much as it hurts and painful..”: Henry Cavill Has No Regrets Over Chosing a Difficult Lifestyle For One Valid Reason

 

Henry Cavill is an actor who is constantly taking up projects one after the other. With every successful movie and series that he has starred in, Cavill seems to be a person who doesn’t like to sit idle.

Talking about his lifestyle and his routine, Henry Cavill has no regrets about his life and the way he lives it. Stating that he chose this way to live instead of sitting comfortably at home, Cavill showed to the world just how much of a workaholic he is!

Henry Cavill Has No Regrets About His Lifestyle

With a muscular physique along with some iconic roles to his name, Cavill has always been an actor dedicated to his role. Running up and down hills, riding horses, and hitting the gym to maintain this physique alongside acting is something that the Man of Steel actor has made out his life to be.

In an iconic quote by the actor, Cavill mentioned that he chose this lifestyle rather than being forced to do it. Stating that he has no regrets in giving his all to maintain his physique, Cavill shared (via IMDB) that when he wakes up in the morning to look in the mirror, all the pain feels worth it!

“There is a reward. As much as it hurts and painful as you are going through it, when you wake up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror, you go “Okay! This is why I am doing it. That makes sense.”

Continuing further, the actor revealed that even though he wasn’t playing the role of Superman, he continued to have that physique all year around. Henry Cavill stated a very responsible answer to the question that the image of Superman shouldn’t be ruined.

 

Superman Should Not Be Unhealthy

Although the actor is not associated with the role of Superman now, he still continues to work out and maintain his muscular physique. But back when he was associated with the DCEU, Henry Cavill was asked why he maintained his physique even though he wasn’t playing the role of Superman (during breaks).

“If I’m walking around an unhealthy mess, it might damage people’s idea of what Superman is. So there is a responsibility.”

Being the gentleman that he is, Cavill did not want people to have a negative image of Superman. Ever since getting kicked off from the DCU, Cavill has been constantly working with 7 upcoming projects to his name. Henry Cavill was last seen in the role of Geralt of Rivia in the 3rd season of The Witcher which is available to stream on Netflix.
