Prince Harry (40 years old) and Meghan (43 years old) are said to be “stuck” in the middle of a struggle to build their reputation in the US, where they have lived since leaving the royal family in 2020. According to revelations from the new book by author Tom Bower – a famous writer specializing in writing biographies of rich and famous people – the couple is facing deep crises.
“They’re in crisis,” Mr Bower told The Mirror . “Meghan wants to be a famous billionaire and Harry doesn’t understand that world, except that Meghan wants to be famous.”
In the book, Mr. Bower argues that Meghan has not yet achieved the status she wants, while Prince Harry is struggling to maintain the royal aura as a fulcrum. “She has not achieved the charisma she hoped for. He is stuck in California, clinging to his royal status, just like her. Harry’s idea is to reconcile. That is completely unrealistic because there is irreconcilable anger from Prince William and Princess Kate.”
Despite speculation that he wants to return to the royal family, Prince Harry has expressed his satisfaction with life in the US. Currently, he and Meghan live with their two children – Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3) – in a large mansion in Montecito, California.
At the DealBook Conference hosted by The New York Times , Harry shared: “I love living here and raising my children in the United States. This is a part of my life that I never thought I would experience. I feel like this is the life my mother wanted for me. Being able to do things with my children that I couldn’t do in the UK is amazing. I’m so grateful for that.”
Tom Bower’s new book promises to continue revealing never-before-seen details about the couple’s life in the US. However, Prince Harry is said to have no intention of returning to royal life or living full-time in the UK.
