Hot news: “Sleeping Prince” dies at 36 after 20 years in a coma… hhyhyhyh

Saudi Arabia’s Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Saud has died at the age of 36 after more than two decades in a coma. His passing has brought to an end a long journey of hope and heartbreak for the royal family.

Saudi Arabia’s Prince Has Been Bedridden for 20 Years

Prince Al-Waleed’s funeral will be held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, the final resting place of the young prince who breathed his last after a long battle with fate.

In 2005, when he was only 15 years old, Prince Al-Waleed was involved in a tragic car accident in London, England. The accident left him with a serious brain injury and internal bleeding, falling into a deep coma. Since then, he has been nicknamed “The Sleeping Prince” or “The Prince of Beds” and has had to rely on a ventilator to live at King Abdulaziz Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The prince had shown signs of hope for recovery, but the miracle did not happen.

Despite Prince Al-Waleed’s critical health condition, his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, never gave up hope for his son’s miraculous recovery. He was always by his side, caring for him and opposing the removal of the ventilator.

Prince Khaled was also the one who announced the sad news of his son’s passing on social network X with heartbreaking pain .

Hope seemed to be fading when in 2020, a video was shared on social media showing Prince Al-Waleed moving his fingers as a woman greeted him. In the video, the woman says: “Hi Didi, hi, hi, let me see, hi,” and the prince wiggles his fingers in response. She continues to ask the prince to do “one more time, one more time, higher, higher,” and he can be seen lifting his entire hand off the bed for a moment. However, despite signs of recovery, Prince Al-Waleed has not been able to regain consciousness.

At the time of the accident, Prince Al-Waleed was studying at a military school in London. He is the eldest son of Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, the younger brother of business tycoon Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
