My ex once told me I’m too ‘ugly’ to even get 30 likes, and for a moment, I almost believed it. It hurt, and those words stuck with me longer than I’d like to admit. But then I realized that letting someone else’s opinion control how I feel about myself was giving them power they didn’t deserve.
