A video of Prince William’s reaction to Princess Kate’s third pregnancy is making waves again on TikTok. His tense expression at that time made netizens both sympathetic and amused, with many humorously calling it “the face of a father of three preparing himself mentally.”
In 2018, when the Princess of Wales was pregnant with Prince Louis, she and her husband visited the city of Sunderland, in the context of the Royal Family preparing for the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan. Besides the excitement of the important event of their younger brother, William and Kate were also anxiously awaiting the third child, after Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
A clip from the visit was shared on TikTok with the caption: “That’s the face of fear.” The video quickly garnered more than 450,000 views and more than 56,000 likes.
Prince William expressed concern when Princess Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis
In the footage, Prince William chats to locals and shares that the due date is “very close” and that Kate’s bump is “growing by the day”. He jokingly confides: “I’m a bit scared actually… Three kids is a big number. You only have two hands – what are you going to do with the third one?”
The post also included other videos of William caring for his wife during her pregnancy. One shot shows him gently placing his hand on Kate’s back in a caring gesture of support. The caption on the video reads: “He’s trying to make Kitty comfortable. That’s his love. Calm down, she’s fine.”
This was also the last public event that Princess Kate attended before her maternity leave, taking place at the Copper Box – a sports arena in Stratford, East London, within the framework of the Sport Aid charity event.
Another clip recalls the image of Kate in a pale blue and white polka dot dress, holding Prince George after giving birth to him on July 23, 2013, in front of the Lindo Wing, St Mary’s Hospital.
In the comments section of the clip, viewers left many exclamations such as: “Her pregnancy makes him stressed”, “He only talks about having two hands – because he wants to hold all three children so Kate doesn’t have to do anything”, or “He just wants to hold her hand all the time”. Another person expressed softly: “I pray for love like this to come to me”.
