Model Hailey Bieber, wife of singer Justin Bieber, said she has two ovarian cysts after giving birth to son Jack Blues Bieber.
On Instagram Story on April 21, Hailey posted a photo of her swollen lower abdomen with the caption: “I currently have two ovarian cysts. If you are also having problems with ovarian cysts, I am here for you!”.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that form in or on the surface of an ovary. Although benign, they may disappear over time and are not dangerous, some cysts can rupture and cause serious symptoms such as severe abdominal pain and bloating.
This isn’t the first time Hailey has suffered from the condition. In 2022, Justin’s wife shared on Instagram that she had an ovarian cyst “the size of an apple.” “I don’t have endometriosis or PCOS, but I’ve had ovarian cysts a few times. It’s never fun,” Hailey wrote.
Hailey Bieber had a health issue in 2022. She suffered a minor stroke while having breakfast with her husband and had to go to the emergency room. “They found out I had a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a slight lack of oxygen,” she said. After further examination, the model was diagnosed with a patent foramen ovale – a hole between the left and right atria of the heart. She underwent surgery to correct the condition.
Hailey married Justin Bieber in 2008 and gave birth to their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024. Hailey (born Hailey Rhode Baldwin), born in 1996, is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and niece of actor Alec Baldwin. She began her modeling career as a teenager, working with major brands such as Guess, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. She has also appeared on the covers of famous fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle . Hailey currently models and runs the skin care brand Rhode, which she founded in 2022.
